About Brilliant Butterflies
Brilliant Butterflies on County Road H is a screen-covered greenhouse where live native butterflies fly all around you, and you can feed them with sugar sticks. The family that runs it has raised butterflies commercially for 25 years on their farm in Marquette County. In the Life-Cycle Gallery you can see eggs and chrysalids, learn how caterpillars survive, and with some luck watch a butterfly come out of its chrysalis. Admission includes a chance to hold a caterpillar, which is the highlight for a lot of kids. It’s open daily in summer, from May into September.
